It seems that Dell has already made plans to unveil their latest Vostro 1220 for the Japanese market and they do have some tricks up their sleeves. The Vostro 1220 will feature a 12.1 inch screen and is aimed at the business market.
Of course, you can equip your Vostro with either 2.20GHz Celeron or 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo. I believe that the Celeron option would be significantly cheaper than the Core2 Duo version. Other specifications for the laptop include:
1GB or 2GB of RAM 4-cell battery (a 6-cell is available) 12.1 inch WXGA (1,200 x 800) glossy display WiFi FireWire 3 USB 2. sockets Gigabit Ethernet 1.3 megapixel webcam
The lowest end model will be retailing at approximately ¥79,980 ($837) and you should expect the price to bunk a couple of hundred more when you upgrade it with better features.
