SamaritanHouston.org Guest Post By: Frank D. In 1986, Ronald Krist and his wife, Carole, saw a need for a family rehabilitation center in Houston, Texas. In short order, the Carole and Ronald Krist Samaritan Center for Counseling and Education was established. This non-profit organization has been giving affordable counseling services Houston Texas residents in need of wonderful and nurturing care. Today, the center has expanded to include 12 offices in the state of Texas. These centers have been serving over 33,000 families since their inception. These rehabilitation centers have offered the public at large, counseling and education programs. Using team efforts, Samaritan’s counselors help people to interrelate their body, mind and spirit. These counselors focus on helping one individual at a time to better deal with his/her life situation. The center has customized their counseling fees to fit different budgets. They provide not just psychotherapy and counseling, but also educational programs such as counseling training. The center offers classes and programs that are very unique. They continue to find new ways and greater education opportunities to help their clients live with a future and hope in mind. Counseling programs include trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression as well as marriage and family counseling. Not to mention, the center also provides services for Spanish speaking individuals. For community outreach, they have created a wonderful website (www.samaritanhouston.org) for those who want to discover the programs of this non-profit organization. The center offers a special counseling and testing for ADD, ADHD and depression right at the facility. You will feel right at home and like a member of the family. Trackback(0)
