Good news for Portland folks! It seems that Comcast will be rolling out their WiMAX service for the region under their High-Speed 2go WiMAX Service. Of course, this particular service gives you the ability to surf the internet, where every you are. And best of all, it comes bundled with a hell lot of goodies, such as a WiFi router and WiMAX service for just $50 a month. And if you want an additional 3G service, it’s available for you for an additional $20 bucks and you even get the appropriate 3G/WiMAX combo card as well.
On the other hand, the folks at Atlanta, Chicago, and Philadelphia will just have to wait a little longer before Comcast delivers their WiMAX services for the area, before the end of the year.
