Accutane Lawsuit PDF Print E-mail

Accutane is an extremely powerful drug that is used to treat severe acne conditions. In fact, the respective drug was introduced in 1982, and the manufacturer has since stopped its production. Although accutane is very effective in treating acne, consuming the drug on a regular basis would cause various side effects, such as joint pain, birth defects, vision problems, depression, heart attack, aggressive behavior, suicidal tendencies, liver damage and many more. Surely, purchasing accutane requires the provider to explain the risks involved when consuming the drug, but this particular practice was only implemented in the later years. In fact, consumers who were not informed of the side effects caused by accutane should lodge an accutane lawsuit, so that the respective lawsuit can fight for the consumer’s interests. On the other hand, although accutane is a well-regulated drug, some dermatologists have wrongly prescribed the drug to consumers, whereby such drugs were prescribed to treat mild cases of acne outbreaks, which generally do not require the consumer to consume powerful drugs like accutane. Surely, such circumstances are perilous towards the consumer’s health, as clearly, accutane can do more damage to one’s health, which outweighs the benefits of drastically treating one’s severe acne problems, don’t you think so?
