Hotels and Inns are revolutionizing the way that they are doing business – at least they have incorporated advanced features in their room services. Malibu Beach Inn for example, has taken a step ahead by incorporating gadgets like the iPhone and iPod touch that you could use to easily call for room service.
In fact, you can use these devices to help you set your wake up call, request luggage, rent a limo and many more – so now you can forget the conventional way of using the phone!
Let’s holiday at Malibu Beach Inn. |

I am a big fan for Dell’s laptops and PCs and of late I noticed that they have done a makeover for their Latitude series – it includes a metallic body for the cover. It looks sleek and professional but I wonder can it take a beating from falls, knocks and unexpected bumps.
Well of late, Dell has been promoting their Latitude D630 series which features a remarkable 19 hours of battery life. That’s close to a day’s usage on your laptop without recharging.
I’m putting my faith (and money of course) on you Dell. |

It’s tinnier in size – I’m referring to Intel’s latest Penryn-class processors. Intel made an announcement today that Clarksfield, will go into production in the second half of next year (2009).
However, there is still no official announcement on when the chips will be made available to consumers in the Calpella platform.
Let’s hope they will make it available pretty soon. |

It’s official – Toshiba and SanDisk have signed a $1 billion dollars deal whereby SanDisk would sell off 30% of their manufacturing capacity to Toshiba.
Well, according to history, Toshiba and SanDisk has already been partnering each other on various deals – and they would still remain as 50% partner on the company’s joint factories.
On the other hand, Samsung is still keen on taking over SanDisk – SanDisk has previously rejected Samsung’s $6 billion dollars bid to buyout the company.
Let’s just hope that they will still remain ‘quality’ in their production line. |

Samsung got another candy bar inline for their latest phones soon to be out into the market. Coded as the Samsung I7110, it’s sleek design would make you want to own one of these I7110s.
It comes with 2.6-inch AMOLED display, HSDPA and WiFi (surprisingly), FM radio / transmitter, microSDHC slot, 5-megapixel camera (with Auto Focus and a LED flash), GPS navigation, Bluetooth 2.0, 11-hours of talk time as well as a accelerometer for their 3D graphics.
It’s a sleek 12.9 mm thin body and would be launched as early as next month (November 2008) in Russia.
