It seems that Google has added a free feature onto their Android 2.0 system, whereby this particular feature will guide drivers via a turn-by-turn navigation system, via the car dock UI to the Android 2.0.
Of course, you can use this particular feature to guide you while driving on the road, which I think is particularly useful. However, I’m not sure whether this particular feature is integrated into the GPS system.
Personally, I use Google Maps for road guides, as I find the system to be very accurate. And if this particular system comes in free, I wouldn’t mind using it on a daily basis.
