Earlier, Intel disclosed that they will delay the launch of their next gen microprocessors for the market due to the widespread economic recession. Of course, Intel’s latest Arrandale chips features something rather new, whereby it will come in several variants, namely the Core i3 and Core i5 platform.
According to Intel, it seems that the company will be launching their microprocessors on January 7th. Also, the desktop Lynnfield Core i5 is classified as a quad-core processor, while the mobile processing solution for the Core i3 and Core i5 will have dual-core processor only. Personally, I find the mobile Core i5 to be very interesting indeed, whereby it will include a Turbo Boost functionality, which gives you the ability to overclock the processor.

Now we all know that the 27-inch iMac looks simply stylish for the eyes, but it seems that the all-in-one PC suffers from some graphics glitch. Of course, Apple has already issued a firmware update for their 27-inch iMacs, and it’s available for download via the Apple store.
Generally, the update will help you address issues with image corruption and flickering which occurs on the ATI Radeon HD4670 and 4850 graphics card.

I know what it feels like being broke for the month, and this prompted me to change my spending habits and I started to save money in my savings account, for the benefit of my future. Well we all know that the Japanese is leading the robotic race via their robotics technology. On the other hand, it also seems that in the latest All Japan Robot Tournament, Fuji Soft has unveiled their latest humanoid robots that run on the Atom processor, and Ubuntu as the operating system.
Generally, the robots come with a LED visor for facial expressions, and it even has speech recognition and a camera for it to navigate around. Also, there’s WiFi onboard these robots as well.
Well it seems that Fuji Soft plans to release these robots in early 2010 for consumers to play with.

Well I’m sure you know that mainstream cameras have a distinctive outlook. Nevertheless, it also seems that Art Lebedev plans to change the outlook of an ordinary camera into something out of this world, called the Fleximus camera. Personally, I find the Fleximus to be something like a fiber optic camera used by the military. It allows you to peek into hard to see places via its bendable body. There we go again – and here’s LG announcing to the world (again) that they have made yet another world’s thinnest LCD TV panel. Of course, we’ve seen a fair share of TV manufacturers around the world disclosing their thinnest LCD TV into the market, but it also seems that LG beat their competition flat on their heads, by unveiling their latest 42-inch 1080p panel which only measures a mere 2.6mm thin – that’s 0.1 inch!
On the other hand, the LCD TV also comes with the latest LED-backlit 120Hz display weighs and it weights only a mere 8.8 pounds. With such light weight factor built into the TV, perhaps you can carry your TV around to Starbuck’s and watch your favorite game of football?

Well Mitsubishi certainly drew thunderous applause when they introduce their electric vehicle called the i-MiEV. Of course, this particular vehicle isn’t something that will give you tremendous horse power or torgue, but rather, an alternative means for your transportation needs.
Of course, according to several news sources, it seems that the i-MiEV was spotted at the LA Auto Show, and the car drew so many onlookers during the show.
Nevertheless, the i-MiEV isn’t readily available for public purchase yet – you’ll still have to wait a little longer before Mitsubishi decides to release the electric vehicle to the public.

We all know that the Cell processor created such a gigantic buzz when it was launched earlier. The processor boasts a rather revolutionary way for computers to compute using these type of processors.
Nevertheless, IBM has disclosed that they will not be continuing their Cell processors, but vowed that the processor technology will come in another form in the future. Of course, IBM has also said that the PowerXCell-8i processor will be the last of its kind, and there will not be any plans for the dual PowerPC processors and 32 SPEs successors.
Some of the noticeable achievements for the cell technology consist of the Big Blue, game consoles and even TVs.
